About
Guang was born in Beijing, China. He immigrated to the United States at the age of 9, and attended school in Cupertino, California. He obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Physiology & Neuroscience at the University of California, San Diego. He has a broad range of interests, including neuroscience, imaging, computer science, nutritional & lifestyle science, and psychology. He is currently attending the MD-PhD program at the University of Utah, and is pursuing an academic career in psychiatry. Guang has extensive experience mentoring high school, college, and medical students achieve the next steps in their respective career paths. In addition he has served on admission committees and has been involved with recruitment within the MD-PhD program.
